• 10 a.m. HanoverLand Heart Art Rock Scavenger Hunt Begins at COB51 Art Studio (Create Outside the Box at 51 Carlisle St.). While they stay hidden, find a free Art Heart Rock within 51 yards of each of the official Heart of Hanover Trails storyboards, by Main Street Hanover, then return to COB51 for a free gift and painting session to take your personalized Art Heart home with you. For the first time, witness an unprecedented clash of two political heavyweights, titans of wit, and giants of moral courage. United States President Abraham “The Great Emancipator” Lincoln and Congressman Thaddeus “The Great Commoner” Stevens, portrayed by engaging performers Pittsburgher Rick Miller and Gettysburger Ross Hetrick, respectively. At the rear of 116 York St. where Civil War casualties of the Battle of Hanover were buried, witness the third laying of the wreathe, accompanied by a playing of Taps, an invocation, a poignant poem, and a proclamation by Mayor Whitman.
