- 10 a.m. Official "We Three Wreathes" Festival Opening Ceremony at the Cake Bar. At 22 Carlisle St., a hardy Heart of HanoverLand Festival welcome, a proclamation by Mayor Whitman, and the first laying of the wreath, accompanied by an honor guard and spoken word art, begin it all, followed by the knighting of three into the HanoverLand Legion of Honor. After, enjoy a sneak preview of the World Famous Gettysburg Electric Map, curated by the Professor of Prestidigitation & Voice of the Electric Map, Civil War historian Dr. Marc Charisse. - 11 a.m. HanoverLand Heart Art Rock Scavenger Hunt, COB51 Art Studio, 51 Carlisle St. While they stay hidden, find a free Art Heart Rock within 51 yards of each of the official Heart of Hanover Trails storyboards, by Main Street Hanover, then return to COB51 for a free gift and painting session to take your personalized Art Heart home with you. - 6 p.m. First Ever Hanover Screening of the Acclaimed Documentary A History of the Underground Railroad and Abolitionists in South Central Pennsylvania. Presented by the Hanover Area Historical Society and the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center (EPAC). After viewing the acclaimed documentary, immerse in a question-and-answer session with a Blue Ribbon Roundtable moderated by Bryan Wade, CEO of Keystones Oral Histories.
